It's decently priced and a good location. The atmosphere is a bit funky.
A bit funky.
Since it was the first time ever to visit Seattle for us, the staffs at the Inn were very friendly and helpful. They well-informed us about the city and we were able to have a great time in the Emerald City. The inside of the room was very nice and comfort.
The only thing we didn't like about was the bed and the pillows... It was soo squeaky that whenever we tossed and turned in the bed, it makes a noise. And the pillows were too high for us that it wasn't comfortable to sleep on it so we had to take them out from bed... So if you don't care about those things, I can highly recommend this Inn for you.
Easy walk to Pike Place. Helpful, friendly staff. Nice room amenities. Valet parking.
My husband and I are well along in years, so climbing two long flights of stairs was a drawback.
Spacious rooms, which adds to the feeling of relaxation. Tea in the lobby in the morning. Nice shower & hair products. Blinds & drapes are nice. In-room coffee pot (which so many hotels are phasing out)
Coffee Mate creamer - ick. Why not provide uht milk packets in the rooms? Wi-fi in room 6 is too weak to connect; the front desk lent me an ethernet cable. Bed in room 6 is dips on the left side from use.
Hotel above fabulous steakhouse of the same name. Comfy beds. Stayed in smallest room and it was good sized. Excellent service!
The room was quiet and comfortable. You cannot beat the location for shopping and restaurants. The staff was delightful!
The room was clean but the bathroom needed attention. The floor was 'sticky' and there was garbage in the bathroom waste can. That was a bit unsettling.
I much impressed with the best hotel: service, rest place, relaxation after full business day, purity, suitable design, good room price and location near the beach. The hotel is one of the best on the hotel service in the usa and looks like more attractive in comparison with many others, I.e the Holiday Inn, Marriott etc.It is really small but very agreeable and has comfortable rooms. I was surprised to take only positive image every day from this hotel. Sure they must have the Inn at El Gaucho hotel network both inside and outside the country. At least, I'll be happy to make my choice only in the hotel like this one. Many thanks to manager general and the hotel team for this great hotel! It will be to my pleasure to recommend this hotel widely!
The rooms were spacious, the beds were extremely comfotable.
The location was excellent . . . right downtown and close to shopping, wonderful restaurants, and tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked questions on several occasions and responses were quick, clear, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfy. Good reading chairs and fluffy bed. The bathroom was spacious and sparkling. All the rooms were on one floor and the restaurant is one of our favorites. And the movies at night caused the popcorn smell to waft up several floors. Not a perfume fragrance, but enticing just the same.
No elevator. Got a little tired of those stairs after walking all day. The valet was new to Seattle and could not give directions.
I learned about the inn on the internet and was very favorably surprised at how delightful it was to stay there. The stairs were a curiosity but not insurmountable! The room was exceedingly pleasant even though it was street-side. Great amenities, including the lovely leather chairs.
Warm reception. Tasteful decor. Ice water in the evening with fresh fruit, cookie in the room and wonderful hot coffee in the morning! Much appreciated. Warm well wishes on checking out.
The Hotel was in great location, the room was clean, comfortable and clean.
the comfy bed & decor & cookies
wifi wasnt working that night and night guy staff was not very helpful
What a wonderful find El Gaucho turned out to be! My boyfriend and I visited Seattle with three other couples -- we all booked separate hotels and the others were so envious of our lucky choice when we showed them our room! The rooms are lovely -- vintage Hollywood colours, shades of tobacco and ochre that GLOW in the grey light of Seattle. Each room has a cozy sitting area that prevents it from feeling centered around the bed alone and the bathrooms are beautifully tiled in milky, vintage seeming tiles. The lobby is warm and quiet -- no elevator access and only 17 suites give it a secret feeling and it smells, most charmingly, like toasty butter! (There is a neighborhood theatre downstairs). The staff is fantastic. El Gaucho alone will prompt my friends and I to visit Seattle more regularly. WE LOVE IT!
Sharon at the front desk was super accommodating friendly and helpful.
